Actress
Pei Pei Lin (pronounced Pay Pay) is a ‘Made-in-Taiwan’ New Yorker, born on Valentine’s Day.
At the early age of 8, Ms. Lin spent summers traveling to the America to attend acting classes, and continued into her teenage years. Determined to make her mark on the world, Ms. Lin left Taiwan at 15 to attend the prestigious
Northfield Mount Hermon School in Massachusetts, where notable alumni include Kim Raver and Laura Linney. She then accepted a scholarship from
Parsons The New School for Design, while continuing her acting training.
Her dramatic instincts have lead to significant roles in the 2012 season finale of the award winning TV series,
Law and Order: Special Victims Unit; the upcoming indie feature,
59 Seconds, starring Emmy Award Winner Pruitt Taylor Vince; and
Haiku in Brooklyn, which premiered at The
Cannes Festival Short Film Corner 2011. In addition, Ms. Lin, a self-proclaimed ‘Lovable Nerd’, is armed with a wonderful sense of comedy, with roles in the
Onion Sports Dome (Comedy Central) and
Siamese Twins (FunnyorDie.com)
Amidst auditions, acting roles, and film premieres, Pei Pei is currently developing the multi-platform sci-fi ‘She-ro ‘project, ‘Feral’, with artist, Abdul H. Rashid of
AHR Visions Studio. Part animal, part superhero, the lead character will be based on Ms. Lin herself. She is also the owner of an exclusive skincare line which will be launched in New York in 2013.
